Community Development Fund

The objectives of the fund are to:

  1. Provide financial assistance for organisations and/or projects which benefit the community.
  2. To assist community-based (not for profit) organisations to develop and maintain facilities.
  3. To provide community-based (not for profit) organisations with relief from Council imposed fees and charges.

 Ravensthorpe Hopetoun Future Fund

The Ravensthorpe Hopetoun Future Fund was established in 2011 by the Shire of Ravensthorpe. The Future Fund exists to improve economic and community infrastructure and services in the Shire of Ravensthorpe through funding projects that clearly comply / align with the Shire’s Strategic Plan.

Applications for our yearly grant scheme has now closed. This year there was a total of $67,234.97 awarded to local community groups for a variety of projects.

Next year's Expressions of Interest round will open in April and all relevant documentation will be available on this page.

There is also a bursary program which opens on the 1st of September every year.

Up to $5000 is available for individuals to help with costs for -

  • Academic (including boarding) 
  • Arts / Music
  • Sport 
  • Life Skills (support programs / camps)
