Early Childhood Educator

Multiple full-time, part-time & casual positions available

At the moment we are only looking for someone who holds or is working towards a Bachelor of ECE. 

 

The Shire of Ravensthorpe has exciting opportunities available for energetic and passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our Little Barrens and The Cub House Childcare Centre Teams. We are looking for someone who holds or is working towards a Bachelor of ECE. This is an exciting position with the successful applicant being, highly motivated, team focused and will possess excellent communication and organisational skills together with a passion for childcare.

 

The successful applicant will be offered an attractive pro rata salary package that will be negotiated dependent on qualifications, skills and experience as per the Ravensthorpe Enterprise Bargaining Agreement 2023.

 

The pro rata salary packages offered will include up to the following:

 

Qualified- Bachelor (ECE) and Diploma qualified. 

  • Base salary from level 4/1 at $65,916pa up to level 4/2 at $68,010pa;
  • Ravensthorpe Allowance $5,928pa;
  • Superannuation up to 16% (conditions apply); and
  • 5 weeks Annual Leave + 17.5% leave loading 
  • Uniform allowance
  • Free Gym and Pool Access
  • Childcare discounts

Total Package value up to $86,364pa

 

Casual- salary level is determined by qualifications

  • Base salary level 3/1 at $26.72 per hour up to a level 4/2 at $34.42 per hour;
  • Casual Loading of 25%; and
  • Superannuation up to 16% (conditions apply)

 

Trainee- will be enrolled in study towards a relevant cert 3 or diploma

  • Base salary from level 3/1 at $52,795pa up to a level 3/4 at $61,707pa;
  • Ravensthorpe Allowance $5,928pa;
  • Superannuation up to 16% (conditions apply); and
  • 5 weeks Annual Leave + 17.5% leave loading 
  • Uniform allowance
  • Free Gym and Pool Access
  • Childcare discounts

Total Package value up to $78,946pa

 

Applicants must have or be willing to obtain;

  • Current working with children check;
  • First aid certificate including anaphylaxis and asthma;
  • Pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and hearing test; and,
  • National police clearance.
