A Culture and Creative Industries Plan is designed to promote, support, and nurture the local cultural and creative sectors.
Local Governments use these plans as strategic documents to outline the steps required to enhance the vitality and diversity of a community's cultural and artistic life.
To do this properly, extensive community consultation must take place. Euphorium Creative has been engaged to undertake this consultation for the Shire of Ravensthorpe.
You may have already noticed and been invited to several of Euphorium Creative’s workshops and meetings throughout the community, and you can expect to see plenty more in the coming months!
This is very much a collaborative effort. For now, we’d like to know what you’re doing this weekend!
What’s Your Plan For The Weekend?
Why? To get a sense of what culture in our community looks like, we want to know how you spend you free time!
Weekends are more than just downtime: they are opportunities for creativity, community and connection.
Whether it is playing sport, gardening, sewing, dance, going to church or alone time on the beach, there is no wrong answer here.

Disclosure of conflict of interest
In July 2023 Euphorium was engaged as the consultant to deliver the Culture and Creative Industries Plan with Euphorium team member and Ravensthorpe local, Gabrielle Major, as the lead on a four person team.
On the 31st October 2023 Gabrielle’s husband, Tom Major, was elected as the Shire President for the Shire of Ravensthorpe.
