Survey on FIFO work from Ravensthorpe Airport

The first half of 2024 has brought several challenges to the Ravensthorpe region with operations slowing down at one of the major mines in our area, and stopping all together at another.  

To tackle this challenge the Shire of Ravensthorpe has been meeting with WA mining operators to explore the possibility of providing air services for workers who choose to live in our region, but want to work in another, such as the Pilbara and Goldfields.

Flight options from Ravensthorpe are being investigated however, there needs to be a minimum number of interested workers for this to progress.
