Ravensthorpe and Hopetoun waste facilities opening times

Please note both facilities are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day, Australia Day (26 January), Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Anzac Day (25 April).

Payment details

We accept EFTPOS and cash at both facilities. 

Waste vouchers are sent out to ratepayers with the annual rates notice and can only be used for domestic waste. 

Prepaid waste facility passes can be purchased at the Shire of Ravensthorpe offices in both Hopetoun and Ravensthorpe.

Munglinup tip

From 1 July 2025 entry to the Munglinup Waste Facility will be controlled by a fob operated padlock on the gate with monitoring by CCTV cameras.

Fobs can be obtained from the Shire and will require a $40 deposit paid in advance, refundable if the fob is returned. Fobs are not transferrable or able to be shared with others.

Access to the facility will be 7 days per week between 6am and 6pm.  

Entry continues to be free for Shire of Ravensthorpe ratepayers. Non-ratepayers will be required to pay an additional prepaid fee of $220.00 per year.
