Fire Control and Firebreak Notice 2024-25

It is the responsibility of ALL landowners/residents within the Shire of Ravensthorpe to read and fully understand the requirements mentioned within the notice.

Firebreaks must be in place on 31 October 2024 and then maintained as per the Shire of Ravensthorpe Firebreak Notice 2024-25 until 30 April 2025.

The Shire of Ravensthorpe administration offices in both Hopetoun and Ravensthorpe are also an agent for the Department of Transport.

However, our Department of Transport computer in our Hopetoun office is currently out of order (as of Tuesday 8 September 2024) and has been sent away for repairs.

This means until it is returned, all hazard perception and computer theory tests can now only be done in Ravensthorpe.

All other transactions can still be completed in Hopetoun.
