New contact details for childcare centres

Two childcare centres managed by the Shire of Ravensthorpe have now been fully transferred to specialist childcare services provider Regional Early Education and Development Inc (REED).

The transfer was announced in December 2024. The Shire of Ravensthorpe had initially stepped in to assist the childcare centres after the community groups that were previously managing them folded in 2018 and 2019. This was always intended as a temporary measure until a more suitable solution could be established.

Both centres have new contact details: 

REED Ravensthorpe (formerly The Cub House)
