Owning a pet comes with important responsibilities. This page provides information on dog and cat registration, microchipping, sterilisation requirements and responsible pet ownership within the Shire of Ravensthorpe.

Dogs

All dogs over three months of age must be registered with the Shire of Ravensthorpe. Registrations are available for one year, three years or lifetime periods.

Registering your dog helps Rangers return it to you if it is found wandering or impounded.

Unless otherwise approved, no more than two dogs over three months of age may be kept on a property within townsites and special rural areas.

For information on registration requirements, fees and forms, please visit a Shire office.
