The Shire of Ravensthorpe, with the generous support of Medallion Metals, is offering local community members the opportunity to complete a Pool Lifeguard course free of charge.
Delivered by Royal Life Saving WA, the two-day course provides practical training in water safety, lifesaving techniques, emergency response and pool supervision.
The training is an opportunity for people interested in working in the aquatic industry or developing valuable lifesaving skills.
That last point is important. I'd include this sentence on the website:
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Early enrolment is encouraged.
