Bushfire: Fitzgerald River National Park

The REC is now an assembly point for firefighters. They will be sleeping at all hours, so please stay away from the tents.

The Ravensthorpe gym is closed until further notice. The Fitzgerald River National Park is closed.

Please take care when driving into Ravensthorpe as emergency vehicles are active in the area.

2026 Australia Day celebrations

Please join us at the Hopetoun Community Centre on Monday 26 January.

We'll announce the winners of this year's Citizen of the Year Awards as well as have a special citizenship ceremony.

Free community breakfast starts at 8 am with the ceremony to follow at 9 am.

New booking system for campgrounds

Good news! Our new online booking system for the campgrounds is up and running.

This includes Hamerlsey Inlet, Mason Bay and Starvation Bay campgrounds.

All bookings were successfully moved across to the new system and customers can now book directly via the RMS booking system.

The links throughout our websites have also been updated.

No change to venue bookings

The change is only for campground bookings. Shire venues can still be booked via Spacetoco.
