Patients in Ravensthorpe and Hopetoun have a new female doctor with the arrival of Dr Shinal Reddy from Fiji.
Dr Reddy is a GP with a special interest in women's health who recently joined the Livingston Medical team.
She said she is pleased to be here and is enjoying meeting her new patients.
"Fiji is known for having very friendly people and it is lovely to see that Ravensthorpe also has friendly and welcoming residents," she said.
"My husband and I are very happy to be here."
The trip from Fiji to Ravensthorpe took three days and Dr Reddy said she is still getting used to the cooler weather!
