Hopetoun Rural Bush Fire Brigade has officially received a new crew cab Tatra fire truck, delivered by the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) last week.
Based at Blue Vista, the brigade has been operating with a loan vehicle from DFES for the past few years while awaiting delivery of the new appliance.
The new truck will strengthen the brigade’s emergency response capability and support local volunteers in protecting the community and surrounding areas during bushfire emergencies and other incidents.
Hopetoun Rural Bush Fire Brigade Captain Stott Redman welcomed the delivery of the new vehicle, which will support the brigade’s ongoing emergency response efforts across the region.
The Shire thanks all members of Hopetoun Rural Bush Fire Brigade for their ongoing commitment, service and dedication to community safety.
