Temporary Changes to Gym Access and Parking | 26–28 October 2026
The Shire of Ravensthorpe advises residents and facility users that contractors will be undertaking roof access safety system installation works at the Ravensthorpe Recreation Centre on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 October 2026.
To facilitate these works safely, the parking area at the rear/side of the Recreation Centre will be closed from Monday 26 October 2026 to allow contractors to establish their work area.
Gym Access Arrangements
The gym will remain open during the works, with temporary changes to access arrangements:
-
Gym operations: The gym will remain open during its usual operating hours.
-
Access: Gym users must enter through the front doors of the Recreation Centre and access the gym via the Fitness Studio.
-
Parking: The rear/side parking area will be unavailable from Monday 26 October for the duration of the works.
-
Safety: Visitors are asked to observe temporary signage, follow any directions from contractors or Shire staff, and remain clear of designated work areas.
Notices will also be displayed at gym entrances to assist users with the temporary arrangements.
The installation of the roof access safety system forms part of the Shire's ongoing commitment to maintaining safe community facilities.
The Shire apologises for any inconvenience and thanks facility users for their understanding and cooperation.
