REQUEST FOR TENDER – RFT 2026-2027-003
LEASE OF FARMLAND – RAVENSTHORPE AIRPORT
The Shire of Ravensthorpe invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced individuals, businesses and agricultural operators for the lease of Shire-owned farmland adjoining Ravensthorpe Airport for agricultural cropping purposes.
The land is located at the corner of Ravensthorpe-Hopetoun Road and Jerdacuttup Road, Ravensthorpe, and comprises the designated cropping areas identified in the Request for Tender documentation.
The Shire is seeking a suitably experienced lessee who can demonstrate sound agricultural management practices, responsible land stewardship, and the capacity to operate safely alongside an active airport.
Proposed Lease Terms
  • Lease duration: Five (5) years, with an option for a further five (5) years.
  • Permitted use: Agricultural cropping and associated approved activities.
  • Commencement: Proposed for March 2027, subject to Council approval and execution of the lease.
  • Rental: Tenderers are invited to submit a competitive annual rental offer, exclusive of GST.
Tender submissions will be evaluated against relevant agricultural experience and capability, proposed farm management and land stewardship practices, commercial return to the Shire, and local or regional contribution.

Tender Lodgement
