Shire purchases Tamar St facility for community use

Shire President Tom Major celebrates the purchase of the Tamar St facility with Rave About Arts and Hopetoun Community Resource Centre representatives.

The Shire of Ravensthorpe is pleased to announce it has purchased Lot 2, 99 Tamar Street in Hopetoun.

The Hopetoun Gym and the Hopetoun Youth & Art Space are currently housed in this facility.

Shire President Tom Major said the purchase is a vital investment in community wellbeing and development. 

“By securing a permanent home for these services the Shire is supporting an active, connected and vibrant community,” he said. 

"The gym’s long-term members will be glad it's here to stay, and it's great to see the Hopetoun CRC and Rave About Arts settled nicely into this space with the Hopetoun Youth & Art Space.”
