CLOSURE OF FOODWORKS IN RAVENSTHORPE

The Shire of Ravensthorpe has been advised that FoodWorks in Ravensthorpe has closed and the property is expected to go on the market shortly.

The Shire understands the concerns for ensuring that fresh fruit, vegetables and other essential items remain available to our residents.

Immediate supermarket alternatives include;

  • Keens Mini Mart; Fresh fruit and vegetables, bread, milk plus grocery lines located at 107 Morgans St, Ravensthorpe. Extended opening hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturdays 9am to 4pm.
  • The Cellar and Goods Store (Dawry’s Bottlo); Frozen meat supply, cellar and goods store with fruit and vegetables available from Saturday, 22 February. Email admin@thecellarandgoodsstore.com or visit at 81 Morgans St, Ravensthorpe.
  • Hopetoun IGA; Home delivery from Hopetoun IGA to Ravensthorpe residents will be available from this Thursday 13th February if required. Deliveries available Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday by return truck. Orders will need to be placed via email admin@hopetouniga.com (preferred) or telephone 9838 3919 before 1pm the day prior. Orders need to note if they allow substitutions for products out of stock and a delivery fee will apply.

We are also investigating other options including a bus service from Ravensthorpe to Hopetoun and will advise once available.
