PUBLIC NOTICE
COMPLEX AMENDMENT AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION
Amendment No. 4 to Local Planning Scheme No. 6
Notice is hereby given that the local government of the Shire of Ravensthorpe has prepared the above-mentioned Complex Amendment for the purpose of:
- Applying an 'Additional Uses' (A3) designation to part of Lot 109 South Coast Highway, Ravensthorpe; and
- Amending Clause 4 (Additional Uses) of the Scheme to add 'Service Station – D' as an additional use on that part of the land, subject to the conditions the service station be unstaffed and sell only petroleum products and diesel exhaust fluid.
The underlying Rural zoning of the land is not proposed to change.
Please note: this amendment is being advertised to seek public comment on the proposal. The advertising of the amendment does not indicate any formal support of the proposal by the Shire of Ravensthorpe or the Western Australian Planning Commission.
Plans and documents setting out and explaining the scheme amendment have been published in the following manner:
- A copy of the plans and documents is available to view here.
- A hard copy of the plans and documents is available for inspection at each Shire of Ravensthorpe administration office (65 Morgans St, Ravensthorpe, WA 6346 or 46 Veal Street, Hopetoun, WA 6348) during ordinary office hours.
Submissions on the planning scheme amendment may be lodged in writing and should include the amendment number, the name and address of the person making the submission, the property affected and details of the submission, and lodged with the undersigned on or before 5 pm, Monday 9 November 2026.
