Firefighters setting up at Hopetoun Sports Precinct

There is a bushfire in the Fitzgerald River National Park that is not contained or controlled. It is moving in a westerly direction. Active aerial water bombing is taking place.

Eastern parts of the FRNP have been closed.

Radio stations off air

We're currently experiencing a broadcast issue. Hot FM, SBS and Triple J are temporarily off air in Ravensthorpe and Hopetoun due to a technical faul.

While our teams are working hard to fix the issue, the stations will remain off air until further notice.

Pool closure for school swimming lessons

The Ravensthorpe Community Swimming pool will be closed to the public between 9am-3pm over two weeks for school swimming lessons.

The first week is from Monday 20 Nov - Friday 24 Nov and the second week is from Monday 27 Nov - Fri 01 December.
