West Beach in Hopetoun has been reopened to the public after a brief closure so we could remove a sea lion carcass.
Thank you for your patience and consideration during this effort.
Sea lions and other marine animals often carry nasty diseases and the advice is to stay well clear of them and always ensure your pets do as well.
The sea lion carcass has been removed from the beach.
