Highway reopened

The South Coast Highway has reopened with speed restrictions after being closed due to bushfire.

 A speed limit of 60km/hr is in place between West River Rd and Newdegate Ravensthorpe. Smoke is still visible in the area. Turn your headlights on and watch for emergency services personnel and follow their directions.

Another 60km/hr speed reduction remains in place on the South Coast Highway from Munglinup Townsite to 1km east of Neds Corner Road. Please drive with caution.

All fires in the region have been downgraded due to favourable conditions. Please remain alert and report all fires to 000.
