Prepare your firebreaks

Firebreaks must be in place on Tuesday 31 October 2023 and then maintained as per the 2023/2024 Fire control & firebreak notice until 30 April 2024.

Verge side waste collection

Collection of residential waste from verges will take place from Monday 2 October to Friday 6 October 2023.

Please place items on your verge neatly. Items will not be collected from vacant land or public reserves.

The Shire of Ravensthorpe election on Saturday 21 October 2023 is to fill four Council vacancies on four year terms.

Hopetoun office hours

After several weeks with reduced opening hours the Shire of Ravensthorpe office in Hopetoun returns to normal hours this week.

Monday and Tuesday the office is open from 9am-2pm.

Wednesday to Friday the office is open from 9am-4pm.

Thank you for your patience while we worked with reduced staff members. We look forward to seeing you in the Hopetoun office soon.

The Ravensthorpe office remains open Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm.
