Intention to Lease

In accordance with Section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995, a local government can dispose of property via a lease or licence to a nominated entity if it gives local public notice of the proposed disposition and seeks public submissions.

The Shire of Ravensthorpe intends to provide a lease to Medallion Metals Ltd for Lot 311 Queen St, Ravensthorpe for the purpose of workers accommodation on the following terms and conditions;

• Term 5 years with proposed commencement date 1 July 2024 with option for a further 5 year term.
• $37,000 plus gst per annum in year 1 payable as per independent market valuation.
• Permitted purpose being a workforce accommodation camp and uses reasonably ancillary to that purpose.
