Local government elections are held periodically to elect the councillors of the Shire of Ravensthorpe.  

Elections are conducted in accordance with the Local Government Act 1995 and are managed by the Western Australian Electoral Commission (WAEC).  

Upcoming Local Government Elections

The next local government election is scheduled for Thursday 26 March 2026.

The call for nominations has gone out. Nominations close at 4 pm on Tuesday 10 February 2026.

Voting

Voting in local government elections is conducted by postal vote.

Eligible electors will receive voting information directly from the WA Electoral Commission.
