Community members sought for bushfire risk advisory group

The Shire of Ravensthorpe is seeking expressions of interest for two community representatives for the Community Stakeholder Consultative Committee (CSCC), an advisory group to assist the preparation of our Bushfire Risk Management Plan.

Our region is bushfire prone and the responsibility for managing bushfire risk is shared across community.

Successful bushfire risk management requires collaboration across government agencies, industry, private landholders, and community members.

We invite community members with experience in fire ecology, botany and/or an extensive knowledge of the local landscape will be considered.

If you are interested in participating on the CSCC as a community representative, please email your expression of interest, detailing your relevant experience to:

shire@ravensthorpe.wa.gov.au by 5pm on Friday 28 June 2024.
