There is also a TOTAL FIRE BAN for the whole Shire of Ravensthorpe today.
Pursuant to Regulation 38A of the Bush Fires Regulations Act 1954 the Shire of Ravensthorpe advises a Harvest & Vehicle Movement Ban is imposed across all zones in the Shire of Ravensthorpe.
The following activities are not permitted during the Harvest & Vehicle Movement Ban period;
Grain and Tree Harvesting operations
The use and operations of Exploration Drill Rigs
Any off-road activity is banned, unless it is for agricultural purposes or work being conducted by business, industry and public authorities (Strict conditions apply)
