No potable water at Hopetoun groyne

There is currently no potable water available for caravans at Hopetoun groyne.

This site is managed by the Department of Transport who have been informed.

The nearest potable water point is located at McCulloch Park.

Anzac Day

The Shire of Ravensthorpe Anzac Day service for 2024 is taking place in Ravensthorpe on Thursday 25 April.

The event will start at 10:00am with a march from Ravy Country Kitchen down Morgans Street to the Ravensthorpe War Memorial.

Veterans and community members are welcome to join the march.

Construction of nbn fibre in Ravensthorpe

Over the next 3-6 months, Ventia crews will be installing fibre and equipment at homes and businesses in Ravensthorpe.

When you visit the beach this summer it is important to note the BEN sign nearest you.

Beach Emergency Numbers (BEN) signs make it easier for emergency services to be deployed in the event of shark sighting, incident or other beach emergencies.

The signs are named in honour of fatal shark bite victim Ben Gerring and can be found at various beaches within the Shire of Ravensthorpe.
