Monday 22 April: Hopetoun - Ravensthorpe Road (within a range of 1.8 km to 8.5 km south of Ravensthorpe).

No potable water at Hopetoun groyne

There is currently no potable water available for caravans at Hopetoun groyne.

This site is managed by the Department of Transport who have been informed.

The nearest potable water point is located at McCulloch Park.

Anzac Day

The Shire of Ravensthorpe Anzac Day service for 2024 is taking place in Ravensthorpe on Thursday 25 April.

The event will start at 10:00am with a march from Ravy Country Kitchen down Morgans Street to the Ravensthorpe War Memorial.

Veterans and community members are welcome to join the march.

Construction of nbn fibre in Ravensthorpe

Over the next 3-6 months, Ventia crews will be installing fibre and equipment at homes and businesses in Ravensthorpe.

Today is Wear Orange Wednesday, or WOW Day. Today we join communities all around Australia in thanking SES volunteers.

Our local SES volunteers generously give their time to help the community during emergencies.

They are called upon at all hours of the day and night, including during the long hot bushfire season.

To celebrate them and say thank you, both Shire of Ravensthorpe administration offices held WOW Day morning teas.
