Shire of Ravensthorpe Dogs Amendment

Local Law 2022

The Shire of Ravensthorpe is providing a public notice for an Amendment to the Shire of Ravensthorpe Dogs Local Law 2010.

The purpose of the amended Local Law is to remove the prescribed areas for dog exercise and prohibited, and to amend the modified Penalties.

The effect of the proposed amendment is to allow Council to determine the prescribed areas by a decision of Council and to amend the Penalties to reflect current industry standards.

A copy of the Local Law may be inspected at or obtained from the Shire's Administration Offices at 65 Morgan Street, Ravensthorpe, or 46 Veal Street, Hopetoun, between 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday, viewed on the Shire website or at any public library within the Shire of Ravensthorpe during normal opening hours.

This law will come into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.
